After graduation at Sankt Georg Austrian College in Istanbul studied Classical Archaeology and Prehistory at the University of Istanbul. Achieved M.A. degree (Title of the M. A. thesis: M.Ö.3-2.Binyillarinda Dogu ve Güneydogu Anadolu'da Maden Igneler - Metal Pins of the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia in 3-2.mill.BC) at the Institute for Prehistoric Archaeology of the same university. Ph.D at the Prehistory Department of the Philipps University in Marburg. Worked as an assistent researcher at the Prehistory Department of the Istanbul University between 1989-1995. For the time being independent archaeologist and member of the stuff of Derekutugun-Excavations(an ancient mining site) at Corum in Central Anatolia and member of the research project Metal Finds from Alacahöyük
